Delete Your Wyza Poll Account
You have the right to delete your Wyza Poll account at any time. This page explains how to request account deletion and what happens to your data.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
- Open the Wyza Poll app
- Go to your Profile tab
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision by tapping Delete My Account
Your account will be deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:
Email support@wyza.aiInclude the phone number associated with your account. Requests are processed within 24 hours.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account information - Your phone number, name, and profile details
- Wallet and earnings - Your wallet balance, transaction history, and pending payouts
- Survey participation - Your connection to survey responses (responses are anonymized)
- Notifications - All notification history
- Agent data - Any agent network connections and assignments
- Community memberships - Your participation in communities
What Data May Be Retained
To maintain survey data integrity for survey creators, your survey responses are anonymized rather than deleted:
- Your personal identifier is removed from responses
- Responses are marked as from "Deleted User"
- Response content is retained for aggregate analytics only
In limited cases, we may retain minimal data where required by law or to resolve disputes. Any such data is deleted once no longer legally required.
Deletion Timeline
In-app deletion: Immediate
Email requests: Within 24 hours
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- All pending rewards and wallet balance will be forfeited
- You will not be able to recover your account after deletion
- You can create a new account with the same phone number after deletion
